The University uses a third-party vendor to send mass communications to students, faculty, and other affiliates. Communications include information on deadlines for registration, important university events, and discounts. Students and faculty are automatically “opted in” through HR Connect and SAIL.
The University will send a message twice a year reminding each user that they are in the system. Additionally the user receives a message when their number is added to the system. You may opt out of the text messages at any time by replying to any message with “STOP TAMUCC.”
Once you opt the number out of the text message system, you will not be allowed to receive any further text or cell phone notices from the University to that number.
